Can I just cover the vermiculite with new insulation?
It’s not recommended. Covering it doesn’t remove the risk, fibres can still be disturbed, and it complicates any future work. Safe removal is the cleaner long-term solution.
Can I use my attic for storage after removal?
Yes. Once the vermiculite is removed and the space is cleaned, your attic can be used normally, including for storage or new insulation.
Do you remove vermiculite from walls too?
Attics are the most common location, but vermiculite can also sit in wall cavities. We can assess your whole home and safely remove it wherever it’s found.
